About Maureen Boswell

Maureen is a wife, mom, food lover, and dietitian.  She has earned multiple credentials in the field of nutrition and fitness, which include:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) by the CDR
  • Certified Dietitian by the State of Washington (CD)
  • Health Fitness Specialist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM HFS)
  • Certificate of training in Adult Weight Management through the CDR

Aside from all that fancy professional stuff, she comes from a long line of passionate (if not obsessive) cooks and thoroughly enjoys eating.  In this blog, she hopes to chronicle her endeavors in the kitchen as well as offer some nutrition insight for the real world.   Thanks for reading!

  2. Thanks for liking my post on Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits. It really is a delicious recipe even if not the healthiest! One of these days I need to fool around with the recipe and see if there is a way to sub out the bisquick for whole grain sprouted flour and find out if it will still taste good.
